Chang Hwan SHIN, a US Attorney, passed the 39th National Public Administration Examination (1995) and worked at the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism from 1997 to 2004 and at Kim & Chang from 2004 to 2025. In addition, he has accumulated diverse and rich experience by serving as, inter alia, a policy advisory member of the Office of the President, a member of the Game Rating and Administration Committee, a member of the Game Content Rating Board, a member and chairman of the Regulatory Reform Committee of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, a member of the Content Dispute Resolution Committee, a member of the Korea Copyright Commission, an expert member of the Presidential Council on Intellectual Property, an auditor of the Asia Culture Institute, an arbitrator of the Korea-EU Committee on Cultural Cooperation, a member of the Korea Copyright Protection Agency's Copyright Protection Deliberation Committee, and an outside director of the Korea Music Copyright Association (KOMCA). He is currently a director of the Korea Copyright Protection Agency and the Korea Culture and Tourism Institute. He is also a dedicated scholar who has published more than ten academic papers in the field of intellectual property law. Since February 2025, he has joined LIN and is active in the fields of intellectual property law and entertainment law.
