Mr. Rah was appointed as a judge in 2006 and served in, among others, the Suwon District Court and the Seoul Central District Court, dealing with a variety of cases, including civil, criminal, family, preservative measures, medical, real estate, intellectual property right, and bankruptcy cases. While serving as the Director of Judicial Research at the Supreme Court Library, he was in charge of managing the Supreme Court’s comprehensive legal information system and publishing the Supreme Court Reports. From 2018 to 2022, he served as the Presiding Judge at the Mokpo Branch of the Gwangju District Court and the Suwon District Court, where he was in charge of exclusive warrants, civil, criminal, and collegiate panel-requested cases.
