Youngmi Oh is a foreign attorney qualified in both Australia and New York, with expertise in international transactions and cross-border projects. After completing her J.D. in Sydney, she began her legal career at local law firms handling civil litigation and corporate advisory matters. Upon returning to Korea, she worked at Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering, where she gained extensive experience in international contracts and dispute-related matters, including overseas project bids, EPC contracts, joint ventures, asset sales, and dispute resolution.
Since joining LIN, she has advised domestic companies in the manufacturing, healthcare, IT, and energy sectors on a wide range of cross-border matters, including overseas expansion, supply and license agreements, and dispute management. She has also provided regulatory and risk management advice in connection with the North American, European, Middle Eastern, and Southeast Asian markets. In addition, she has regularly advised foreign companies on Korean regulatory issues, including labor, occupational safety, and fair trade laws, and has recently expanded her advisory work to focus on healthcare and biotech companies. Drawing on her experience working with stakeholders across diverse industries and jurisdictions, she brings strong communication and coordination skills to complex global projects.
