▲ Attorney Nack Song SUNG, LIN

LIN (Managing Partner Jin Seok Lim) has hired Attorney Nack Song SUNG, former President of the Judicial Research and Training Institute, as Head of the Litigation Group. Attorney Sung graduated from Seoul National University School of Law and its Graduate School, passed the 24th National Judicial Examination, and served on the bench for nearly 30 years. He has held key positions including Presiding Judge of the Criminal and Civil Divisions of the Seoul Central District Court, Presiding Judge of the Seoul High Court, and Chief Judge of the Suwon District Court. In particular, he is recognized as a person with expertise and insight gained from his extensive experience in shaping policy and systems of the courts, including his service as a Judicial Policy Research Judge and as a Standing Member of the Supreme Court’s Sentencing Commission.

After retiring from the judiciary in 2019 upon completing his term as the President of the JRTI, he has since worked as a senior partner at several major law firms, accumulating practical experience in various fields including civil and criminal cases. His nomination as a candidate for Supreme Court Justice further attests to the trust and respect he commands within the legal community.
