Mr. Youn brings extensive expertise across a diverse spectrum of legal matters, including mergers and acquisitions, finance, project finance, cross-border transactions, and international dispute resolution.

Mr. Youn has joined the firm following 14 years of experience at an international investment bank's fund division and a private equity fund.

During his tenure as a managing director and general counsel of a private equity fund, Mr. Youn demonstrated proficiency in various areas. He played a key role in the establishment and management of private equity funds, facilitated asset acquisitions, and led successful cross-border transactions. Among his achievements, he led a Korean consortium's acquisition of mining partnership interests in Canada, valued at KRW 1.2 trillion (approximately US$ 1.1 billion). Additionally, he assumed responsibility for compliance, risk management, and government relations.

Prior to his position at the private equity fund, Mr. Youn served as a general counsel at Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Asset division in Seoul. In this capacity, he played a pivotal role in overseeing the asset acquisitions and project finance transactions of multiple funds. He oversaw the management of funds operated by Macquarie, including the largest infrastructure fund in Korea, renowned for its dual listings on the Korea Stock Exchange and the London Exchange.

Before his tenure at Macquarie, Mr. Youn worked at a law firm, focusing on M&A, corporate law, finance, and international trade.
