Since joining Kim & Chang in 1994, Attorney Jin Seok Lim has worked in the finance team and handled tasks relating to industrial regulations, individual transactions, and disputes in most areas of the finance sector, including the banking sector, non-banking sector, securities, asset management, the savings bank, and other financial institutions. He also performed various tasks relating to foreign financial institutions and cross-border issues. Furthermore, Attorney Lim has gained much experience and built a strong network in diverse fields through external activities as a legal consultant in the Ministry of Economy and Finance, a nongovernmental committee member of the Steering Committee of Investment Pool for Public Funds of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, an external member of the KDB Fund Management, and a member of the National Assembly Ethics Investigation Advisory Committee. After working as an attorney for about 24 years at Kim & Chang, he became the Managing Partner of Law Firm LIN in the second half of 2017 with a set goal to achieve a dynamic performance of the legal tasks and to train junior lawyers.
