Hye Kyung Lim started her legal practice at Shearman & Sterling in New York in 1997, and moved to Kim & Chang in 2003, continuing her work on various international transactions, finance and capital market transactions, such as securities offering, project financing, asset securitization, structural financing, asset management, private equity investments, M&A and other cross border transaction. She has then been at The Walt Disney Company (Korea) Ltd. and Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering Co., Ltd. in charge of all of the company’s legal and internal control and compliance matters, including various types of contractual arrangements on business expansion projects, licensing, domestic and foreign investments, EPC, construction, and supply agreements and a wide range of domestic and overseas legal disputes and arbitration cases.
