Investment Practice
- Advised on an ABL investment (KRW 80 billion) in unlisted shares of a holding company of a major domestic conglomerate, including the securing of a call option under a share sale-and-purchase reservation agreement
- Advised on a profit-participation investment (KRW 4 billion) in the dismantling of a polysilicon plant for scrap metal, and the acquisition of convertible bonds (KRW 30 billion)
- Advised on an op-co loan to a mid-sized middleware development company (KRW 120 billion) and the acquisition of exchangeable bonds (KRW 30 billion); as well as the acquisition of bonds with warrants (KRW 200 billion) for refinancing existing loans and EB investments, and a hold-co loan (KRW 120 billion)
M&A
- Advised on the sale of a controlling stake in a mobility solution platform company spun off from an in-house venture of H, an automobile manufacturer
- Advised a listed company on the acquisition of common shares and convertible bonds issued by a company possessing proprietary technology in areas such as CNC automatic lathes
- Advised on the acquisition of shares in an automotive consulting company by a Hong Kong–based holding company of a security and quality assurance service provider
- Advised on the establishment of a PEF by an asset management company and the acquisition of RCPS issued by an aluminum product manufacturing company
- Advised on the acquisition of a controlling stake in W F&B manufacturing company by an affiliate of T Group, a Taiwan-based food company

- Successfully represented an Austria-based pharmaceutical company in a Korean action to recover the price of goods
- Successfully represented a Switzerland-based travel agency and the German Ski Association in a Korean damages action arising from fraud in accommodation contracts for the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics, and represented them in the related criminal complaint
