Attorney Sung June Park is an energy and infrastructure specialist whose primary practice focuses on regulatory compliance, contracting, investment advisory, and related disputes and litigation within the energy and infrastructure sectors.

Based on his deep understanding of the overarching regulatory framework of the energy industry—including the Electric Utility Act, the Urban Gas Business Act, the Act on the Promotion of the Development, Use and Diffusion of New and Renewable Energy, the Community Energy Supply Act, and the Special Act on the Promotion of Distributed Energy—he provides effective and practical legal services to both public enterprises and private developers.

In particular, during his five-year tenure as an in-house counsel at Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO), he gained hands-on, practical experience across the full spectrum of the power sector, including power generation, transmission, distribution, electricity sales, and power trading. This extensive experience has endowed him with an exceptional understanding of both energy policy and industrial fields. Currently, he serves as a legal advisor to numerous energy-related public institutions—such as the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (MOTIE), Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO), the Korea Power Exchange (KPX), the Korea Gas Corporation (KOGAS), Korea East-West Power, Korea Southern Power, Korea Western Power, Korea Mid-West Power, and Korea South-East Power—delivering advisory and litigation services that harmoniously balance policy perspectives with business realities.

Attorney Park’s practice encompasses all major power sources and infrastructure involved in the energy transition, including coal-fired and LNG combined cycle power generation, offshore and onshore wind, solar, fuel cells, hydrogen/ammonia, and Energy Storage Systems (ESS). He provides comprehensive legal services throughout the entire lifecycle of energy projects, ranging from advice on the construction and operation contracts for power plants and terminals, EPC and O&M contracts, LNG terminal use agreements, Power Purchase Agreements (PPA), electricity supply contracts, and REC/RPS/power market regulations, to representation in various disputes and litigation surrounding bidding and bidder selection, contract modification or termination, development cost settlement, and liability allocation.

Currently, as a partner at LIN LLC, he delivers integrated legal solutions spanning both advisory and litigation services to clients in the energy and infrastructure sectors.
