Mr. Jeon earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science and statistics, and later qualified as an attorney after completing the Judicial Research and Training Institute. His practice focuses on intellectual property, information technology, and privacy law. He has served — and continues to serve — in a variety of roles, including: (i) member of the New IP Committee of the Presidential Council on Intellectual Property; (ii) member of the Committee for the Improvement of the Unfair Competition Prevention Act at the Korean Intellectual Property Office; (iii) expert member and advisor to the Personal Information Protection Commission; (iv) arbitrator of the Korean Commercial Arbitration Board; and (v) adjunct professor at the School of Law, Chung-Ang University. Mr. Jeon has also published numerous articles on intellectual property, privacy law, software, open source, copyright, electronic signatures, NFTs, and related topics.
