Mr. Jeon earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science and statistics, and later qualified as an attorney after completing the Judicial Research and Training Institute. His practice focuses on intellectual property, information technology, and privacy (data privacy) law. He has served in a variety of roles, including member of the Data Subcommittee and Legal Task Force of the Presidential Council on National AI Strategy, member of the New IP Subcommittee of the Presidential Council on Intellectual Property, member of the Public Data Dispute Mediation Committee, member of the Committee for the Improvement of the Unfair Competition Prevention Act System at the Korean Intellectual Property Office, expert member and advisor to the Personal Information Protection Commission, arbitrator of the Korean Commercial Arbitration Board, adjunct professor at Chung-Ang University School of Law, and adjunct professor at Seoul National University School of Law. Mr. Jeon has also published numerous articles on intellectual property, privacy law, software, open source, artificial intelligence, copyright, electronic signatures, NFTs, and related topics.
